Description:

ESRI is a geographic information systems and mapping software for modeling and mapping the world.

How to Get This Software:

ESRI is available to all Stony Brook University faculty, staff, and students as part of the SUNY Academic Software Initiative. A registration number or a hardware dongle may be required. A yearly renewal is required for the dongle-enabled software.

Undergraduate students can only use ESRI from University-owned machines or when using a dongle server (key server) run by the University.

Graduate students can use ESRI on University-owned computers and need to sign an agreement to use the software off-campus.

To obtain an ESRI registration number or dongle, send an e-mail to ESRISupport@notes.cc.sunysb.edu.
