Reactivate Your E-Mail Accounts
Stony Brook University does not provide e-mail accounts for life. Students who are not registered for the fall semester will have their Lotus Notes and Sparky (UNIX) e-mail accounts deactivated on Nov. 12, unless a “Request to Keep Your Stony Brook E-Mail Account” electronic form is completed by 5 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 10. This includes clubs registered by a student who has left.
Visit Teaching, Learning + Technology’s “Leaving Stony Brook” page to find out if your accounts are marked for deactivation or deletion and learn about some other options for forwarding your mail if you plan to leave the University.
