MySBmail Replaces Sparky Webmail for Students
Effective Monday, May 4, 2009, all students will be using a new webmail system called MySBmail.
Highlights of MySBmail include:
- Students will sign in with their NetID (a separate password is no longer needed)
- Students can forward mail to another account easily
- Mail quota has increased to 250 MB and students can send attachments up to 20MB.
- Students will receive notification when they reach 90% of their quota
- Mail will not bounce for 120 hours after a student has gone over quota
- Students decide which mail messages they want to move from the old mail system to the new one
Instructions for how to turn on MySBmail and move messages over from the old Sparky system can be found on the Teaching, Learning + Technology (TLT) Web site.
TLT consultants in the Main Library and Union SINC sites are trained to help students migrate their mail from Sparky to MySBmail.
