Symantec Endpoint Protection 11 is the latest version of Symantec AntiVirus software being offered to all students, faculty, and staff at no extra charge through Softweb (https://softweb.cc.stonybrook.edu). If you have not already upgraded to this latest version, you are strongly encouraged to do so. Employees should be installing the managed Symantec Endpoint Protection 11 client on University-owned computers. The un-managed client is for personal computers and student machines being used on ResNet.

The server that manages the old Symantec version 10 clients will be phased out at a future date, so it is important to do this upgrade so that your anti-virus protection remains uninterrupted.
