Student Computer Registration Begins Jan. 23
Students living on campus or using the campus network can begin registering their personal computers on the Stony Brook University Residential Network (ResNet) for the Spring 2009 semester on Friday, Jan. 23, at 9:30 a.m. EDT.
Students using Windows computers must have the latest Windows Updates and a valid anti-virus program running on their machine. Students can download Symantec AntiVirus at no extra cost from Softweb.
All students must know their NetID and NetID password in order to register.
Members of the SB Division of Information Technology will be available to assist students with the registration process on Sunday, Jan. 25, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. in the Student Activities Center’s Traditions Lounge. Help with wireless connections will also be provided.
