The Department of Teaching, Learning + Technology (TLT) is hosting its third annual Winter Colloquium, “Exploring Stony Brook’s Teaching and Learning Resources,” on Wednesday, Jan. 14, and Thursday, Jan. 15, 2009.

This year’s colloquium includes 20 sessions that involve both pedagogy and technology, including TLT and library resources. Topics include course design, active learning strategies, communication and discussion of various technologies such as Adobe Connect, SharePoint, Blackboard and Echo360 (class recording). The sessions begin each day at 10 a.m. and will be held primarily in the Frank Melville Jr. Memorial Library. Two sessions on Thursday, Jan. 15, are scheduled to take place in Javits Lecture Hall, Room 103.
