Stony Brook's Work-At-Home Virtual Private Network (VPN)
The University's Work-at-Home virtual private network (VPN) allows any member of the campus community with a NetID and NetID password to access certain Stony Brook applications, resources, and services from off-campus. The following resources and services require a VPN connection when attempting to access from off-campus:
Important to Note
- There is a 100-seat limit to the number of VPN connections that can be made at any one time. If you are unable to connect initially, please try back at a later time.
- Be aware that the Work-at-Home virtual private network cannot be accessed from a computer on the campus network. You must be off-campus to access it. If you try to connect while on campus, you will receive an error message that says "You do not have permission to login. Please contact your administrator."
- iPad, iPhone, iPod touch and Android (1.6, 2.1 and 2.2) users must go to their app stores to download the Juniper application called Junos Pulse.
